What are your thoughts on vegan fashion? Ever since I started eating vegan, I realised that I wanted to have a cruelty-free wardrobe as well. In the beginning I thought that it was going to be a bit of a challenge, but after doing some research, I realised that there are already quite a few vegan fashion brands out there. These days more and more brands are opting for cruelty-free materials, which is a great improvement. Not only for the animals, but for the environment as well.
One of the vegan bags that I own is the Hvisk Cayman Pocket in black. Hvisk bags have become quite popular lately, especially because of their bright colours. Hvisk is also a PETA certified vegan brand, which means that no animals were used/harmed in the process of making the bags. They have a lot of different designs, but I believe the Cayman Pocket is currently their most popular bag.
The Cayman Pocket is a crossbody bag with an imitated croc design. It's made of 100% Polyurethane. Unfortunately, this is not the most sustainable faux leather, but it is a lot less damaging than the real leather industry. The bag has one large compartment and an outer pocket (measurements: H17 cm x L21 cm x D5 cm). It's on the smaller size, but it's spacious enough to carry the essentials (phone, small wallet, keys, c
harger, lip balm etc). Inside the bag itself, there is also a small pocket where you could put your cards. It comes with an adjustable strap (74-124 cm) as well, which is very practical. Like I've mentioned earlier, the bag comes in all different kinds of colours, but I chose black since it's the most versatile and therefore you can combine it with basically everything.
Choosing cruelty-free doesn't mean you can't be stylish. Personally, I think it feels so much better to wear something knowing that no animal had to suffer because of it.
