Hi everyone ♡
Today I wanted to talk a little bit about self-care.
Having a lot of responsibilities (school, work, family/social life etc) can sometimes make it easy to forget that taking care of yourself should be a responsibility to yourself as well. If you're not feeling good mentally, it can and probably will affect everything that you do and can even have a negative impact on your physical health.
This is why I think it's very important to take good care of yourself. Especially now, during these uncertain and sometimes lonely times, it has become even more important to regularly check in with yourself and find time to relax and recharge.
Therefore, I'd like to give you this little reminder to be extra nice to yourself today (and every other day too of course ♥) and share some of the little things that I like to do to help me relax and recharge:
～ Eat your favourite meal
～ Drink a nice cup of tea/coffee
～ Go for a walk (in the woods, park, around the block etc)
～ Connect with family & friends
～ Do a (quick) workout
～ Cuddle/play with your pet (if you have one)
～ Treat yourself to a yummy snack
～ Take a (bubble) bath
～ Light a scented candle
～ Write down a list of things that you are grateful for
～ Take a social media break
～ Crawl up with a good book
